Become a ‘miner for 1 day’ at the Beringen Mining Museum during dhe Mining Sundays
In this unique excursion you will discover in small groups and guided by an ex-miner, numerous rooms in the historic buildings that normally remain closed to individual visitors! Look behind the walls of our bath room and pay hall, and discover where thousands of miners received their paychecks at the same time, where they washed each other’s backs, where they dried their soggy duffels. The tour continues through the plans room, report room, rescue room and “the director’s office.
Atmospheric, authentic and unforgettable, as most of our guides are ex-miners.
