Guide tour ‘My Sunday’
A guide will take you to places that normally remain closed to visitors. Step into the footsteps of the miners and experience this authentic heritage like never before.
In small groups, you’ll look behind the walls of our bathing hall and discover where miners washed each other’s backs, where they hung their soggy duffels to dry… and then trek to the collection machine building, take a walk under the shaft trestles and pass the water castle. Finish up in the underground simulation*, all accompanied by our enthusiastic guide. Most of our gides are ex-miners, who will tell you about life below and above ground in all its colors.
Tours last 2 hours and continue at 11am – 1pm – 3pm.
Departure point: upon reservation, sign in 15 minutes in advance at the Visit Beringen reception desk.
